Experience & Leadership

Serving as Corporate General Manager for Fix Network World, Stuart was hand-selected by senior executives to stabilize and rebuild Canada’s highest-volume corporate collision facility. Managing two interconnected sites with three distinct operations, he implemented lean production boards, advanced process mapping, and fully integrated OEM repair standards. His initiatives doubled monthly gross revenue from $500,000 to over $1 million within a year, while achieving profitability levels exceeding 60% per file. His results quickly became a model for other franchisees and a showcase for industry tours hosted by Fix Network’s leadership.

Previously, Stuart held senior roles including Director of Collision Services at Serpa Automotive Group and General Manager at Simplicity Car Care’s flagship location, where he consistently introduced lean methodologies, secured OEM certifications, negotiated insurer partnerships, and elevated financial performance. At Serpa, he transformed a small dealer body shop into a certified, multi-million-dollar collision division within 14 months, earning recognition for both revenue growth and technical excellence.

Earlier in his career, Stuart led operations at Hwy 7 Auto Collision, Avenue Collision CSN, and Just Jeeps/JJ’s 4WD, where he honed his expertise in operational strategy, dealer/OEM relations, DRP negotiations, and culture change initiatives. His approach blends strong financial discipline—maintaining labor-to-sales ratios under 10% and materials under 5%—with forward-thinking process design and hands-on leadership.

Stuart’s educational foundation includes a B.A. in Political Science and Administrative Commercial Studies from the University of Western Ontario. He has continued to invest in his professional growth, completing training in Lean Manufacturing (Akzo Nobel PCE Boot Camp), OEM Certifications through I-CAR and Tesla, and earning designations such as OMVIC Certification and PPG MPV Parts Manager Certification.

Widely respected for his ability to blend analytical insight with practical implementation, Stuart has advised on advanced projects including the development of AI-powered estimating and workflow software. His work reflects a passion for precision, innovation, and measurable results—qualities that have made him a trusted leader, mentor, and consultant in the automotive and collision repair industries.
